Simple steps to install Free McBoot
This is tutorial shows how to install by the Swap Magic method.
There are other methods of installing FMCB as well.

FMCB is not compatible with SCPH-9000x series. In this case you need to put ulaunch,elf into root and than keep you Swap Magic CD always into your PS2. This way you do not need to install any thing on your Memory card and boot using SwapMagic CD and Thumbdrive.

ReplyDeleteHello Tech Vision i have copied the SWAPMAGIC folder to my usb drive and started the ps2 with swap magic 3 plus coder dvd but the ulaunchelf doesn't appear
ReplyDeleteOk i have formatted it with fat32 now it appears but in the "mass"-folder it doesn't show up the datas i have put in can you help me out?
ReplyDeletei just bought a new usb drive 32gb and formatted it to FAT32 and used it for free mcboot but in the installation progress it says: "No BOOT.ELF found in the USB Device" i don't understand this can you help me out Tech Vision?
